My work with Blanca Soto on this month's Cosmo.

Just "hot off the press" here's the May 2012 issue of Cosmopolitan en Español which features my work on actress Blanca Soto.  She is from Monterrey, Mexico and used to be a fashion model and actress in Hollywood (she even had a supporting role in "Dinner with Schumcks")  She found her way into one of the most successful "novelas" in the history of Univison networks.  It was the highest-rated domestically produced novela in history and one of the top 10 finales of any novela.  On the day of the finale, "Eva Luna" had 9.7 million viewers and made Univisión the second most watched network in all of television (only behind ABC)!

Our shoot was awesome, Blanca arrived early and ready to go to work.  And yes we had pupusas that day and yes she LOVES them!  Not much I can say about her makeup except that I of course wanted to play up her eyes.  I used a plum eyeliner mixed with a gold/taupe eyeshadow to bring out her eye color.  She was so quick to shoot and so professional that we ended the day early.  She is now starring in the novela "El Talisman" - follow her on twitter @blanksoto.

Acaba de salir la nueva edición de Cosmopolitan en Español la cual incluye mi trabajo con Blanca Soto.  Originaria de Monterrey, México.  Blanca a tenido una gran carrera como modelo y actriz en Hollywood (como en la película "Dinner with Schmucks") y después fué la estrella de la novela "Eva Luna" una de las novelas mas exitosas en la historia de la televisión latina.

Nuestro día de trabajo fue divino, Blanca llegó temprano y lista para trabajar.   Y después de comer pupusitas (sí, le encantan)  pasamos un día perfecto.  En su maquillaje me concentré en el color de sus ojos y la maquillé usando un delineador morado mezclado con una sombra café y dorada.  Blanca es tan profesional que hasta acabamos el día temprano y pudimos hacer fotos extras con ella!
